ABG POLL RESULTS: You choose the World Green car of the year

In a recent story on the finalists for the World Green Car of the Year, we added a poll allowing you express your opinion. In addition to the official finalists, the VW Polo BlueMotion, BMW Hydrogen 7, Mercedes E320 BlueTec, we threw in the new Smart ForTwo and the perennial favorite Toyota Prius. Interestingly the Polo came in first by a wide margin, getting almost double the votes of the Prius. The Smart which was recently deemed the most fuel efficient and lowest carbon emitting car in Europe came in last, with only eight percent of the votes.
