Peugeot is looking forward to the Geneva Motor Show with three world premieres and two concept cars, including the zero-emission 207 Epure, which we saw at the Paris Motor Show (remember the green grass display for the Epure?). The premiere vehicles are: the 207 GTi THP 175, the 4007 SUV and the 207 SW Outdoor. The two concepts are the 207 Epure and the 908 RC.
While the 207 Epure's zero emissions and total silent operation are due to a 20 kW fuel cell supplied by five 15-liter hydrogen tanks under the trunk that drive a 95-hp electric motor, Peugeot's other offerings are heavy on the diesel. The 4007 SUV has a new 2.2-litre HDi engine with DPFS (Diesel Particulate Filter System) that produces 156bhp and 380Nm of torque. The 908 RC concept's engine is derived from the 2007 LMS Championship-competing Peugeot 908 also has a DPFS, but it's on a V12 HDi diesel engine. A possible powertrain for the 2007 SW Outdoor Concept – connecting the brand with the outdoors in name at least – was not revealed. Peugeot will also display four HDi engines in Geneva.
