Factory in Quebec to build electric car

Somewhere between your average car and a golf cart lies a middle ground of vehicles; low power, low or zero emission, quick trip vehicles that are not designed for road trips but for grocery trips. Reader CR sent in a tip (thanks!) that, according to CCN Matthews, a factory in St. Jerome, Quebec will soon be producing ZENN vehicles that fit into this middle ground vehicle type. Feel Good Cars will deliver ZENN, which stands for zero emission, no noise, vehicles to dealers this summer. FGC calls the ZENN a neighborhood vehicle and a "perfect new urban vehicle". CR says St. Jerome was chosen for the many electric parts manufacturers and R&D experts there. Feel Good Cars says the ZENN will fall under LSV (Low Speed Vehicle) legislation passed by 44 states, the District of Columbia and the Canadian federal government and will soon have an interactive map on their website that links to local laws regarding this welcome middle ground vehicle.
