Jun 28th 2008 12:51AM CNG is the fuel of TODAY forget hydrogen it has been only 5 years away for the last 20 years. Ethanol is a joke and EV's are too much $$.
I drive a 2000 Toyota Camry CNG. Toyota made about 300 of them in 99-01 as far as I am concerned it's the perfect car. 300 mile range, roomy, comfortable, reliable and I fill it up at home for about $1.50 a gallon. Honda can't build enough Civic GX NGV's all other auto manufacturers should pull their heads out of their asses

My Camry holds 13 Gasoline Gallon Equilevant (GGE) and has a range of about 300 miles per fill.
A new CNG Honda Civic GX is available now that gets better mileage than my old Camry but it has a smaller tank.

Today, this morning in fact I disconnected my CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) powered Toyota Camry from the home refueling unit (compressor) in the garage. http://www.myphill.com/
The unit costs about 4 to 5k installed and fuel is about $1.25 a gallon including electricity to run the compressor. Every day I tell O.P.E.C. to Kiss My A$$.

Apr 24th 2008 5:43PM Slavetolust, imatt, Forget a free standing concrete wall. Just use the millions of old sea cargo containers that we have due to the trade deficit with China. http://www.investorgeeks.com/articles/2006/08/03/living-in-boxes-china%E2%80%99s-trade-deficit-affordable-housing-solutions/
Heck many of them are already in the desert near the border. Just stack them 4 high, burying the first one then weld them together cut a few holes in the tops and bottom and fill with rocks or concrete. You then have a double walled 24' steel wall that is 8' thick. If a section is damaged or breached just cut out the containers and replace them with new ones.

Camera-equipped buses could automatically ticket San Franciscans {Engadget}
Sep 12th 2007 4:56PM It would be hard to catch people in the bus lane due to the right hand turn issue as others have stated.
This would be great for the idiots that block a whole intersection because their little brains could not calculate that their light would go red before they got to the other side of the intersection. I think the technical term is impeding the flow of traffic.
