May 12th 2008 12:15PM Look, this is impressive. There are a lot of people who almost never travel more than 125 miles in a day. Therefore, the limitations aren't that severe for someone who has a garage and can charge the battery each night in the garage.

If you need to take a longer trip, then you rent a car that isn't limited for that purpose.

Is this the technology of the future? Possibly! Its not clear that this will beat out hydrogen or compressed natural gas.

But guess what! The vehicles are already viable.

Apr 8th 2007 10:14AM It's small size may not be a disadvantage. Note that the greatest dinasour predator was the Velico Raptor, much smaller than a human being. The toughest dog is the pitbull. It is much harder to hit than a tank with a missile. I see these robots as going behind enemy lines and entering bunkers. They also may be able to detect and attack missile sites. I can envision the robots getting to the tops of hills in Lebanon and Syria and wreaking havoc on oncoming movements.
