Collected for your ease of use: 104 eco-driving tips {Autoblog Green}
May 7th 2008 1:04AM I was at starbucks the other day and turned off my engine at the drive thru, when I got to the window the guy (obviously annoyed) asked why i kept turning my engine on and off? he said don't you know every time you start your car you could idle for 15 minutes on the gas you waste!! thats obviously untrue, unless I was driving a model T or something, he even said he thought he'd read it somewhere, wow I'd love to see that. Anyway in case any of our neo con friends are still laboring under this myth (which they so love to cling to) please turn off your engine whenever you're not moving, idling is a waste of gas, starting your car does not use up gas, in case you hadn't noticed with modern cars you don't have to touch the gas pedal...
"Dumb on all counts" - the experts chime in on the gas tax holiday idea {Autoblog Green}
May 6th 2008 3:49PM Like all neo repbulican policy it only has to sound like a good idea, it's called spin, it's always just a trojan horse to rip off the public, and divert attention from the real problem, Taxes are not the problem, profiteering, gouging, price fixing and fraud are the problems, all perpetrated under the guise of legitimate business's, that long ago became monopolies and should be turned over to the people. Most countries have state owned oil companies, we should gut and disband all the major oil distributors or whatever Shell/Exxon call themselves and use the profits to build solar and wind power plants and to replace the car fleet with renewable powered vehicles.

Pelosi commends Bush on 31.6 mpg by 2015 step {Autoblog Green}
Apr 23rd 2008 2:33PM Well if you know much about authoritarian conservatives, you realize criticism just makes them even worse. Their pathological hostility to the common good becomes more entrenched whenever they feel threatened(which is most of the time) so its best to just congratulated them on whatever concessions to reason they have made.
Earth Day: How far must you drive your hybrid before it pays off? {Autoblog Green}
Apr 23rd 2008 2:02PM wow what a bunch of negative ninny's, Torr for example is complaining that the car only pays for itself after a few years use, I didn't know other cars paid for themselves, so what exactly is his point???
Top 20 green cars we wish we could buy today, Number 2: Fisker Karma {Autoblog Green}
Apr 22nd 2008 2:11PM its a shame, I don't know what the details are, but the Fisker Karma makes Tesla look like a bunch of dithering amateurs, that Karma is nicer than the latest maserati, and they are showing it next to Rolls Royce and Honda where it should be, in that Gallery, so why is the Fisker website down/gone, did Tesla spend some of their investors millions putting a real EV maker out of business???
Shell chief sees H2 difficulties {Autoblog Green}
Apr 17th 2008 2:41PM Gee what an amazing coincidence 20-30 years is about how long they can keep using oil till its all gone, in the meantime any gas station owner who tries to switch to Hydrogen can be bullied into submission or simply put out of business, wow it's almost like the big oil companies run the country.
Sales of GM hybrids almost non-existent in first quarter {Autoblog Green}
Apr 14th 2008 11:45AM Selling a GM hybrid is kind of like selling a pink gun, it's just not going to find a market. Are those people at GM so fantastically unaware that this seemed like a good idea?, or maybe they were so reluctant to do it that they set it up for failure, either way it's back to business as usual for GM.
