May 9th 2008 2:00PM There is a lot of potential market for vans of this category. VW's T5 and the other segment siblings can easily do the jobs of many "full-size" vans here in the US. Shuttle vans come to mind. Sprinters are just overkill.

May 8th 2008 4:58PM Goat- actually, you've got it a bit backwards- Emissions, aside from CO2, are measured in g/mi. That means, a SULEV Ram makes less pollutants than an LEV Civic.
On an enthusiast note, I can't wait to see the newest crop of reasonably priced power trucks go toe-to-toe. The Ram and Tundra should be a fairly even match-up, while we'll have to see what ford puts in the F150.

May 7th 2008 4:49PM The HHeaRSS is a fwd wagon. The Solstice is too small inside for many. If you've ever sat in a Fiero, you know. A big V6 is the American way to go (although I dig the Quad4 swaps too). A transverse 3.6/6speed with manual shifting could be cool.
