Jul 3rd 2008 1:28AM There seems to be an epidemic of GeForce 8600M GTs failing in MacBook Pros. One morning, mine wouldn't wake up, although I could still access it with VNC. When I checked system profiler, it showed an Intel X3100 instead of the 8600M. I had to have the logic board replaced (which was still under warrantee).

Apr 10th 2008 3:54PM This is ridiculous. My favorite thing about the Prius is the quiet ride. I love not hearing an engine.
They're actually not completely silent. You can still hear the sound of the tires against the road and feel the air displacement. When I'm jogging around the condo, I have no trouble hearing an approaching Prius, even with my iPod earbuds.

Jan 30th 2008 2:00PM I'm using an Eye-Fi card in my D40x. The only difference I can see is that it automatically adjusts the power timer. I just had to set it once manually.
