Jan 20th 2007 2:35AM I supect GMs primary cusomer is the military and not the single unit consumer which it is the only explanation for it behaivior, lack of vission and leadership.
I would like to see an EV with a very efficient all wheel drive system with the wheels as individually computer controlled "armatures" like an electric bike I saw on a program on the Discover Channel.
Why not make a few models of EVs, some super light like the EV1 with an extended electtric only range? Is Dave Barthmuss of GM selling us this one vehical as the be-all and end-all for every need? Is this one alt fuel vehical going to "save" GM in 2012? Who cares? Lets start converting Fieros (and?) to solar charged lead acid batteries as shown on the Internet now! For short trips to the store we can use bikes and donkey carts (no joke).
