Survey: 91% of Japanese don't want an iPhone {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jun 19th 2008 9:02AM I didn't want one either.
Bought it after the initial price drop. Now my wife and I both have one, and so do several family/friends after seeing how it works and how convenient it is.

Jun 17th 2008 12:29PM While I've always liked the look of the G-Tech series, I'll take better pre-sales support and the track record of OWC. I know they do extensive stress testing on the drive types they sell.

No tethering for iPhone 3G {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jun 14th 2008 12:26PM As may have been already commented, as long as there's money to be made via the Express Card modem/linkup, they'll not do the tethering option. Which is a shame; I rarely need to "dial-in" remotely, but it'd be a hell of a great safety net for me.

May 30th 2008 9:31AM Don't forget why it's a summer release and not a Christmas release: If you release at the beginning of summer, you can cash in on the Christmas DVD season. It's why Pixar originally acquiesced to Disney on that release schedule (Pixar used to be on a Christmas movie release).
I still think this is why STAR TREK got moved from Xmas 2008 to Summer 2009.

Poll: Would you buy a 12" MacBook Pro? {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
May 14th 2008 8:54AM I keep telling people that when Steve heard us say "smaller!" he, in a Cali state of mind, thought "thinner!" and thus was born the MacBook Air.
Would love something small like that -- or, honestly, a hardback-sized iPhone. But that's just me.
