Aug 8th 2008 7:42AM I remember Mr. Roger's Neighborhood quite fondly. King Friday and the land of make believe, the trolley, "speedy delivery." I agree that if nothing but for nostalgia, it should remain on. But on the other hand, in todays fast pace, it is quite a yawn fest for children who have the ability to reach the remote control and change to any of the much less educational, crude humor filled crap that comes on numerous channels available to them.

Aug 8th 2008 1:23AM I am happy that you could and still do eat and act like a normal person but not gain weight. Not everyone was blessed with those type genes. I was born into a family of overweight people so my weight was more inherited than earned. I say that because my siblings are overweight. My parents are overweight. My grandparents were overweight and so on. The mere inhalation of food is a weight gain proposition for me. It is a battle that I am losing, not for putting up a great fight though. Society is made up of mostly overweight people pretending they're not. Rude comments, outright riotous laughter, and downright ignorant behavior is my day. All because people want to make themselves feel good by making someone else feel bad.

Apr 15th 2008 10:59PM My question is WHAT DOESN'T PROMOTE SEX NOWADAYS? The ads and shows on tv, in print, in the malls...everywhere! Does this woman seem to think that by protesting against ONE greeting card that she will stop her kid from coming into contact with sexually suggestive material? I hope not! All we can do as parents is teach our young ones between right and wrong and raise them with strong moral values. The rest is up to them because the world is sure to provide temptation. They are the ones who have to decide which path to follow. You can't shield them from the WHOLE WORLD!

Or are we to now think that their popularity was boosted because they were using steroids. Is it also supposed to be an exclusive finding that they also happen to be black? So what you are really trying to say is that black artists are more popular than white artists because of steroids? Or are you saying that black artists are so vain that they will resort to steroids to try to avoid aging instead of going to the cosmetic surgeon? Either way, SO!?!?!?!
