Gas buyers favor brand, not price {Autoblog}
Apr 22nd 2008 10:41AM I buy based on price, I would purchase top tier gas regardless of price if I could find it in my area... http://www.toptiergas.com/retailers.html
VIDEO: Maximum Bob provides tour of Malibu design details {Autoblog}
Oct 18th 2007 3:34PM Thanks for the Malibu updates. I had read that production start was 10/15/07. Any word on if they are building them yet or if any have started to ship to retailers yet??
Need to check your tire pressure? Head to the Internets {Autoblog Green}
Sep 22nd 2007 6:35PM Just to clarify, never go by what is printed on the side of the tire, that is the max that tire can handle. On every vehicle sold in the USA there is a tire pressure sticker attached to a door jam or in the trunk. Go by what it says..

Chevy Malibu hybrid spotted in Metro Detroit {Autoblog Green}
Jul 5th 2007 1:22PM Nice shots, great looking car. I like the idea of the mild hybrid and am anxious to see it applied to many more GM cars. Now if they can get a decent supply of them to the dealers.
In the AutoblogGreen Garage: 2007 Saturn Aura Green Line hybrid {Autoblog Green}
Jun 12th 2007 10:01AM As much as I respect the technical advancement the Prius has brought to the marketplace and the sales volume they have developed I view the Aura as a much more compelling vehicle based on fuel economy, interior space, visual appearance, fun-to-drive factor, and function. I view the Aura as more directly competing with the Camry and while I would prefer that it had similar fuel economy to the Camry hybrid the much lower purchase price seems to make it very competitive in terms of investment payback.
Just what is the 25% MPG improvment in GM's new Hybrid SUV offerings? {Autoblog Green}
May 15th 2007 2:26PM This link is for a SAE paper for the Saturn VUE hybrid but page 5&6 give some indication of the methods they used to make the comparison and which aspects contributed what to the fuel savings.

Chevy dealers told to get a Camry to sell their Malibus {Autoblog}
May 14th 2007 9:36AM I thought production started in mid July, after the Fairfax plant summer break? Also, anyone have any more info on the introduction date of the Malibu Hybrid?
Look at the “user reviews” at Edmunds or Yahoo Auto for the new Camry and compare them to the Saturn Aura. The Aura is clearly the better vehicle. If the Malibu matches or exceeds the Aura it should be a solid contender. Now about how to change marketplace perceptions……
UAW contract dispute may delay introduction of new Chevy Malibu {Autoblog}
Apr 27th 2007 4:23PM This story seems to originate from the WSJ story (April 27th page A11) on UAW negotiations. The last line of this story states: “He said the company's redesigned Malibu sedan will go into production this fall as planned but declined to comment on product plans beyond that.”
I repeat that “I think you are confusing the development of the existing Epsilon products with future Epsilon II products. The 2008 Malibu is derived from the stretched version of the Epsilon platform while the 2011 Malibu is derived from the Epsilon II platform.” Please see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Epsilon_platform
From what I understand this story is about development of the next generation Epsilon platform, the one put on hold, and discussions about where those cars will be built, not about the 2008 Malibu.
