Forbes says all that's green is not gold - watch out for alt energy scams {Autoblog Green}
Mar 9th 2007 4:48PM Please keep in mind that Forbes is not going to be kind to small companies.
We cannot expect Big Government or Big Business to solve our current energy problems as they are the ones that have the largest stake in the current system.
Innovation is driven by the little guy. Unfortunatley, the current system eats the little guys alive.

Our future does not include an energy monoculture {Autoblog Green}
Jan 2nd 2007 10:03AM Good article but I believe we still need a "backbone". By default right now that would be the use of fission. Not a good choice. My choice would have been fusion but as we slide down the backside of the peak there is not likely to be enough time to complete the development of this preferred technology.
Someone knew 40 years ago that we needed to work exhaustively on fusion then and took the easier path. May god have mercy on their soul.

They say it is for their coming "hydrogen cars," but I suspect this is
really a smoke-screen their all-electric car which will be powered by
new battery developments.
My position still is that the move to electric vehicles is shorter than the move to cheap electricity to produce hydrogen.
Either way "Ghawar is Dying".
