Craigslist find of the day: Electric Volvo {Autoblog Green}
May 10th 2008 2:29PM I actually think this vehicle is the ideal car for conversions to electric. For short distance commuting it's ideal. With the name alone it's ideal eVolvo - brilliant. And to top it all off the thing looks like a battery to begin with.
Recycling at it's best.
It's Friday: Lucky guy trades cucumbers for a Fiat {Autoblog Green}
May 2nd 2008 11:16AM Good thing he didn't try that on eBay... with a BMW.... with a certain dealer in Nebraska....
Make you wonder if Fiat reads your blog...

With a name like that I figured it to have some Viagra in it.
Seriously though, I have to agree. I've seen people make that mistake numerous times. They don't exactly print big letters saying it's made with vodka or whatever the ingredient is.

Mar 27th 2008 3:00PM Thanks JSB. We all do some dufus things once in a while. That's why we have charities. To help us get us out of trouble and make us feel better about things. And trust me, dropping a car off at the Ronald McDonald house and seeing the kids will make these guys feel a whole lot better about things.

Mar 26th 2008 7:31PM No problem with free trade. If someone wants to risk selling a car on eBay then go for it. Just make sure you don't try to cheat the person who wins the bid. And vice-versa - if someone puts in false bids and can't pay then they should be gone after as well.

Mar 26th 2008 7:02PM To BMW Lincoln Nebraska. Some advice:
1: Give Ken the car immediately at the price he agreed.
2: Have him pose with the keys to the car and put his picture up on your web-site.
3: Make a simple statement to the effect. "We apologise for being idiots. It will not happen again. Thanks for showing us how dumb we were."
My fee for this advice: Donate a certified pre-owned X5 to the nearest Ronald McDonald house at your earliest convenience.

Mar 26th 2008 6:37PM I always wondered why those who take the time to post "who cares?".... take the time to post at all?
Ken - if you decide to keep this thing make sure you get a good license plate so we can give you the thumbs up. You are giving students studying PR at University a first class education on what not to do.
The dealer has probably spent more money on their web-head over the past few days than any profit/loss they'd have made on the car. And he/she's still got to go put all the links back in when it's over....
