Jun 16th 2008 5:57PM The primary thing to keep in mind here is that the "real" Top Gear is provided cars by manufacturers for testing purposes and to receive reviews. The reason for this is the hosts all KNOW WHAT THE HECK THEY ARE DOING! This show will be a monumental flop when produced by a US producer as they obviously haven't a fucken' clue as to what the UK version is all about. 3 guys/boys and their (and especially other people's) toys. The star in a reasonably priced car segment can't be recreated. That is Clarkson's baby all the way.

Jun 2nd 2008 11:06AM This "experiment" on CBS was, to put it simply, disastrous. Treating the public like a bunch of morons doesn't help when you are trying to gain viewership. I will stick with WEC, UFC, and EliteXC on Showtime. Screw CBS

May 29th 2008 1:55PM The biggest misconception about oil is that we are running out. Oil wells that were considered "tapped out" previously have recently been reopened and found to be full. Why? Because life goes on and life dies and life becomes fossils and fossils become fuel. That, to me, is the sickest part of oil. When driving down the street, keep in mind that the oil your gasoline was produced from might have been a TRex at some time long long ago.
I really hope Sapphire gets this up and running as soon as possible. Having another gasoline source to relieve the pressure on the market and remove OPEC from the equation would be a god send!
