The Volt has nothing to do with the pay structure at GM. The current state of GM and so many other industries has nothing to do with the structure of the undusrty but more to do with the complete incompetence of the political parties in this nation. There is nothing wrong with Americans defending Americans. Too bad the parties in DC are the ones that won't do it.
Let's face it, we've been lied to for years. The Japanes claim there is no manipulation of currency, investigate their interest rates and employement rates. Then come back here and tell us that you too know what liars Japan is.
And who is paying for their lies? All of us whether we want to or not.

Last year was start of production. As seems usual for Toyota these days, lots of problems, and still lots of problems now (like tailgates falling off).
Come back with numbers in a couple years, your stats are absolutely worthless, like a Tundra.

"Everybody" also knows that Toyota built three million V6 engines that have a problem with sludge.. and all of them came from Japan.
"Everybody" also knows that Japan has a problem with lying about currency to screw Americans out of jobs.

They may have milked the myth of of reliabilty but oh my god, they are the experts and designing the ugliest cars and trucks in history. Sheild your eyes. This Scion will scar them for life.
BTW, they also been screwed that the game they've played with the Yen is about over. How can they drop interest rates any lower and now the Fed has screwed the liars back. Japan's banking system is going to melt. Their trade manipulation that has messed up the US economy is coming back to bite them. Too fricking bad, remind me to cry.

Mar 19th 2008 6:29PM I was watching another of Barack's performances. There's something odd about how he talks. He never seems to look in the camera but instead at some random point on the left then right. It's as if he doesn't want to talk "to me" but instead is just "acting".
With that said, I don't buy his latest landmark speech. It's more than likely a script courtesy his buddy Oprah. He's a phony, if he's not 100% behind his faith, why'd he keep going?

Of course the blind followers of gloom and doom will and already are posting here against him but the FACT remains, there is no absolute proof of global warming. It's like anything else with the word "global" attached to it, it's a fraud. There is no global economy, just a couple words to remove guilt when you buy crap from nations that lie about trade or use slave labor.
Go on your way bashing GM. But aren't you just proving what sheep you really are?
