This sounds like a great idea if you like the HHR looks. I'd like this even better if they sold this same car with a saab-like look, like my 9-2x.

Oct 7th 2007 5:08PM This is a great idea that me and my friends have always wanted. I've been wanting to get into a living situation where I can bike to work, but keep a nice car for weekend driving. My main detractor keeping me from doing this was the fact that in this economy, it's cheaper for me to live further out and pay less for rent than to live close to work and not drive at all.
I also prefer this over the urban share-a-car things, as they seem slow to setup share points (at least in Austin), and they're only in areas to serve university students (who aren't daily drivers) and upper-class people who own condos downtown (who probably own and easily can afford a nice car anyways).
I hope you guys can branch out to Austin!
