Is the Volt nothing more than bailout bait? {Autoblog Green}

Jul 2nd 2008 7:42PM first of all, I agree with Porschedevotee...the site does look and feel better.

as for the article "the respected Wall Street Journal."

McCain proposes $300 million prize for better battery {Autoblog Green}

Jun 23rd 2008 6:49PM I'm probably gonna vote for this guy, I like his thinking better then Barracks.

Now all he needs to do is get tough on the border and then I'll REALLY like him.

A McCain presidency would mean electric cars powered by nuclear plants, clean coal {Autoblog Green}

Jun 19th 2008 9:00PM Sounds Like a pretty good plan to me.

people that always talk about nuclear waste annoys me. The way I see it, we can just keep storing it all, and in 50 (or 100) years from now, access will be plentiful and cheap. meaning we can just launch all the waste at our sun...and poof, problem solved.

and yes, I'm serious.

In the past few decades the cost of getting to space has come down. a few decades ago it was around $12,000 per pound, its now around $5,000 per pound. give it another 50 years and the cheapest solution for nuclear waste WILL be to send it into the sun.

VIDEO: Elon Musk talks to Fox Business News; who needs accuracy? {Autoblog Green}

Nissan exec expects quadrupling of electric car range by 2015 {Autoblog Green}

Jun 13th 2008 1:35AM ya know, an (admittedly growing) part of me hopes that the price of gas doesn't go below 4 bucks a gallon. because these high gas prices are beginning to spawn some cool looking all electric cars. :)

GM readies all 2009 Cadillac Escalades for ethanol {Autoblog Green}

Jun 8th 2008 3:02AM Lou Grinzo - peak oil? Na, there is enough oil in the earth for at least a half a century more. Its just that we (the US) only produce like 25% of our own oil, meaning the global community decides the prices we pay.

If we drill & refine all of our own oil, the price would be cut in half.

Cree Ltd. SAM electric three-wheeler: not bad, not too expensive {Autoblog Green}

May 29th 2008 8:42PM its top speed & range is just too small.

oh, and the fact that its "electric" is nearly a nute point. I want a electric car....because the biggest reason is that gas is getting more expensive....I currently spend roughly $75 a month on gas....and this 3-wheeled car would have me spend $100 a month on battery costs! No Thanks!

2009 Dodge Ram cuts fuel usage by 20 percent {Autoblog Green}

May 29th 2008 8:17PM wow, good work dodge.

its always good to see newer models being more efficient, cause some people NEED trucks, and are forced to (really) pay for it at the pump, so its nice to see bigger vehicles having a good mpg.
