Mercedes runs out of gas by 2015 {Autoblog}
Jul 2nd 2008 6:03PM Hold your horses. Mercedes is NOT saying they will only make cars that don't use oil. All they are saying is that they will make cars that will ALSO accept other kinds of fuel. This is not as revolutionary as you think. They'll still make plain gas engines that will be ethanol friendly and plain diesel engines that will accept biodiesel. So if Middle East oil suddenly stops flowing, owners will be able to use other fuels. In reality, most of those vehicles will burn the dino juice, the same way they do today.
Ford dealership tells non-believers to "sit down and shut up" {Autoblog}
May 28th 2008 11:43AM Can I teach evolution in your church?
It is hard to believe that this country speaks so loudly about democracy and freedom and yet there are so many people here that think freedom means you are free to tell me what to do, who to sleep with and in what to believe. To me at least freedom means I am free to do what I want (without hurting others), say what I mean and sleep with a consenting adult of any sex I desire. I am straight but I support gay marriage 100%. To all of you religious nuts out there: What if gays were the majority and told you you cannot marry a woman and it is a sin to sleep with her? What then? Would you turn gay and marry a person of the same sex?
You may not agree with other lifestyles but you have no right to tell me what to do. This is America, isn't it?

Apr 21st 2008 3:44PM I agree, Steven. AG needs to suspend his account for spamming. John Lewis Mealer, are you sure you want to post here? Someone may go through your comments and decipher what your secret fuel is. They will steal your idea and use it to power a rocket to finally land on the moon.

Apr 21st 2008 12:18PM Not bad, not bad. Chinese are learning car design very quickly. Now someone needs to tell them that they should not put rusty brake rotors on a show car (see last picture).
McCain calls for summer holiday from federal gas tax {Autoblog Green}
Apr 15th 2008 3:11PM Let's see... I buy 50 gallons of gas a month, so I will save... wait for it... $10!!! 10 freaking dollars a month! That's an extra 3 gallons of gas I can buy, 3 gallons I will need to drive around to find a better road than the one filled with potholes which were not repaired because of McCain's tax cut. Doug is right, let's talk about the hootie, time better spent than talking about this moronic idea.

VIDEO: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe B-roll {Autoblog}
Mar 20th 2008 11:42PM Since it is difficult to judge sizes by looking at the video, I went to Infiniti website to compare dimensions. Here it is:
Genesis Coupe/G37
Lenght: 182.3/183.1
Width: 73.4/71.8
Height: 54.3/54.8
Wheelbase: 111.0/112.2
So the Genesis is slightly shorter (less than 1 inch) and 1.5 inches wider. Pretty much the same thing as G37 and similar to 4 door Acura TSX. It is not a replacement for FWD Tiburon.
Tiburon specs:
Lenght: 173 (almost 10 inches shorter)
Width: 69.3 (4 inches narrower)
Height: 52.4 (2 inches less)
Wheelbase: 99.6 (almost 12 inches shorter)
Genesis Coupe is not a small car like Tiburon.
I want one soooooo badly... I am in for 4T. My only concern is fuel economy. I hope it is not a gas guzzler.
New York 2008: Hyundai Genesis Coupe debuts! {Autoblog}
Mar 19th 2008 4:37PM "should undercut all similarly powered competition by thousands of dollars."
How much exactly? I've heard $19,995 4T and $26,000 V6, then $22,000 for 4T, then there is the sedan that starts a lot higher. I am interested in 4T. Any guesses?
