Dec 28th 2006 3:06PM aaron - it's not about paying back your pocket book. it's about paying back the planet (hug a tree here). the less gas you burn, the fewer emissions you put out. part of the hype is the feel good i'm-saving-the-planet and in some circles - fighting terrorism by using less foreign oil, and some of it is saving at the pump.

Aug 30th 2006 3:24PM what is sad is that here in cincinnati, the % of people who do not wear a belt is like 40%. that is a figure i remember from some place. do not quote me. but it's crazy, 75-80 mph on a commute, cell in one had, smoke in the other, and not wearing a belt. i just hope they don't take some one out with them.

Aug 14th 2006 11:02AM DON – well said. i applaud you. my suv is great for the family and dog and home depot runs. it's not great for commuting everyday. even if i could afford 2 car payments - my truck and a scion xA - i wouldn't save any money and is owning two cars more or less environmentally responsible or not?
