Apr 26th 2007 11:10PM I hope that there will be more investment in using food production by-products for making ethanol, for example, the pulp and peel waste from orange juice producers. It would reduce the amount of farm land needed, and recycle a waste product. Two birds!

Jul 27th 2006 11:31AM Jim Somerset and others seem to be short sighted. Right now groups are studying and working to improve production of ethanol. We need to promote interest in ethanol and alternative fuels to excite investors. Remember: necessity is the mother of invention. We need to think outside the box, explore, and rethink. Most innovative ideas start out with kinks that need to be ironed out.We CANNOT continue to rely on oil as our predominate source of fuel. Investors are needed to fund research. Since Hollywood is always in front of our face, stars can bring attention to this need.
