At Witz' End - Gas Prices - What To Do, What To Do? {Autoblog Green}
Jul 3rd 2008 7:44PM "whenever my opinions differ from yours, I must be a moron."
Only on the internet where they don't have to look you in the eye (or get punched in the nose). It's amazing how brave and rude anon people will get.
Is the Volt nothing more than bailout bait? {Autoblog Green}
Jul 2nd 2008 8:19PM I took the time to read his entire opinion piece ... I wish I hadn't. Piece of $hit would be a better description. Just because it's an opinion piece does not excuse the blatant lack of anything remotely resembling research or knowledge of the subject. He even trotted out the seriously debunked "long tailpipe" argument. I would have thought that the WSJ would actually hire journalists instead of random bloggers.
Saudi Arabia to begin pumping on Khurais oil field shortly {Autoblog Green}
Jul 1st 2008 2:10AM I've been expecting oil prices to retreat a little in the fall. I certainly hope people don't forget the lessons learned on this upswing of the roller coaster. The IEA report this year should make for interesting reading since AFAIK this will be the first year that they won't be simply assuming that demand will be the determining factor for supply.
John McCain doesn't know how much gas costs {Autoblog Green}
Jun 30th 2008 2:28PM Talk about out of touch with the common citizen ... wow! Did he really say "I don't see how it matters"?

Pilot commercial algae to biofuel plant announced in Israel {Autoblog Green}

Jun 18th 2008 1:44PM Elon Musk is starting to look like a really infantile jerk. Did he tell Eberhard "I'll get you at recess"?
GM struggling to recruit engineers for advanced projects {Autoblog Green}
Jun 17th 2008 12:27PM I've seen this same crap in my industry (programming) too. Make noise about a shortage of workers (when is no shortage) in order to drive down costs when a raft of people go into the industry.
T. Boone Pickens continues his bad energy news tour, wants to be a player in the fall election {Autoblog Green}
Jun 13th 2008 2:10PM My reading of McCain's site came up with very little of any substance with regards to energy other than "keep the troops in Iraq" and "more of what Bush was doing". While Obama's policies are not perfect, he has at least shown some understanding of the situation. I would agree that Obama may not be fully aware of the urgency of the situation or he would be hammering McCain into the ground on this issue. If Pickens isn't happy with todays energy policies he has only himself to blame given his support of Bush and co.
