Apr 16th 2008 2:50PM It strikes me that when people feel bitter or they have failed to accomplish much in their lives they grasp onto the environment as their cause for two primary reasons:
(1)It hides their envy of those who are accomplished and gives them a bogus sense of accomplishment.(2)It isn't based on the rigors of science. Nearly any contrived charge can be leveled about a preceived environmental danger and it will be accepted without question by the mass mediums of print and broadcasting.
Environmentalism is the new home of totalitarianism and the destruction of personal freedom.
