Mar 7th 2008 9:17AM I love this concept and would buy one today if it was available. I think GM underestimates the potential market for upscale small cars in the United States. I would be willing to pay over $20K for this vehicle...in fact I'd probably pay $25K. Build it and bring it to the US.
BTW - Gasoline has something like 4X the carbon atoms per molecule of ethanol...so that explains the lower CO2 emissions despite consuming more fuel. Nice that they took advantage of ethanol's higher octane rating to acheive greater engine performance. Running ethanol has no performance benefit unless you design the engine around using it.
