Wiesmann set to introduce MF4 and MF5 Roadsters in Geneva next year {Autoblog}

Apr 4th 2008 9:21AM Is it possible for a car's styling to be both phallic and vaginal at the same time? It is now!

Lane splitting in California - for or against? {Autoblog Green}

Mar 19th 2008 11:06AM FOR: It reduces congestion and pollution.

I must comment on some of the ignorant statement made here about "loose" emissions standards for motorcycles and how only California requires motorcycles sold there to be equipped with catalytic converters.

The reality is that the average motorcycle emits fewer pollutants per mile than the average car, and that every street bike sold in the US (except for "customs") is equipped with at least one catalytic converter. Some have two or three.

Rumormill: Schumacher to race in MotoGP? {Autoblog}

Feb 20th 2008 4:40PM Right, which supports my point: Schumacher would've had to have started racing motorcycles at a ver young age to be even remotely competitive in Moto GP, and he's smart enough to know it, so there's no way he'll attempt to compete in Moto GP now that he's retired from F1.

Rumormill: Schumacher to race in MotoGP? {Autoblog}

Feb 18th 2008 12:03PM Schumacher driving for NASCAR would make more sense than competing in Moto GP. As talented as he is, I'm sure he could've been a Moto GP contender if he'd started racing motorcycles around the same time Rossi did, which was around 5 years old. Even if he'd started racing motorcycles in his teens he'd have had a chance, but now? No way, and he's smart enough to know it.

This is rumor is pure fantasy.

2009 Dakar Rally to be held in Argentina and Chile {Autoblog}

Feb 12th 2008 2:04PM This is great news. The rugged landscape and extreme elevation changes of Chile and Argentina will make for one hell of a race.

Senegalis, Moroccans, etc. can thank their local reprobates, primitives and religious sadists for the loss of revenue.

Terror-stricken Dakar Rally heads to Central Europe, begins a new series {Autoblog}

Feb 9th 2008 2:35PM As a Latin American, I was rooting for Chile, but given who races and who watches these races, Europe makes a lot of sense.

I'm stationed in Afghanistan right now and, let me tell you, this place would make an awesome venue for all kinds of adventure racing and tourism... if not for all the land mines, unexploded ordnance, insurgents and terrorists. It's too bad that places like Afghanistan and Senegal have to be populated by large numbers of duche bags who can't be content with depriving themselves of anything resembling a life lived in full, but also feel compelled to kill anyone who would live their life more fully than said duche bags.

Rumormill: Toyota considering hybrid racer at 2010 Le Mans {Autoblog}

Jan 21st 2008 4:49AM LeMans, and endurance racing in general, is a natural fit for Toyota. Endurance racing began as a venue for manufacturers to prove their cars' reliability, an obviously major selling point for Toyota. Furthermore, fuel efficiency is paramount in endurance racing - as evidenced by Audi's Diesel racer - and fuel efficiency is another strong selling point for Toyota.

Toyota should abandon F1 to focus on LeMans, both in the US and Europe.

Supreme Court rules that police can chase, even if it endangers lives {Autoblog}

May 1st 2007 1:47PM If a person runs from the cops, that person is responsible for ANY injuries that occur; the runner's, the cops' AND any innocent bystanders'.

Need a three-wheeled all-electric speed machine? It's yours for $42,000 {Autoblog Green}

Autobloggreen presents: The Least Green Vehicles of the Chicago Auto Show {Autoblog Green}

Feb 9th 2007 11:19AM "I know it's a tank, but I did say 'vehicles'".

No, it's not a tank, it's an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). Besides the crew, It carries an infantry squad into combat, then supports them when they dismount. Tanks don't carry passengers, except for the Israeli Merkava, which is a combination IFV and Main Battle Tank.

As far as its lack of "greenness", at least it's a Diesel!
