Oct 16th 2007 8:32AM Good review. 4700 lbs. just stuns me. Airbags and crash structure I get, but there has to be a way to trim to absurd weight off of these midsize SUVs. And all of the other vehicles on the road for that matter. It's a car, not a rolling living room.
I'll be holding out for the four-door Wrangler diesel, weighing in a relatively svelt 4150.

May 22nd 2007 9:44AM Maybe the Subaru plan here is to release photos of these horrid looking 08 models to make sure all of the remaining relatively attractive 07 models are cleared off the dealer lots.
I've been a Subie owner for almost a decade and have liked their somewhat offbeat appearance. My 02 WRX is no beauty, but there just isn't enough faux-rally lipstick for this pig.

May 17th 2007 5:09PM No doubt that the bike could reach 200+ mph with the turbocharger, however the visual cues just don't seem to match the indicated speed. I'm with Josh, the lane connectors appear to be going by at about 90-100 mph, not 200+. I haven't seen lane connectors first hand at 200+, but I have seen them at 165+ and even at that relatively puny speed they are a blur.

Apr 9th 2007 8:22AM That's too bad. These were well engineered cars and the perfect Q-ship. Volvo's turbocharging expertise really comes through with this engine. Just never really had much of a marketing push from the factory. In fact I can't remember the last R ad I saw, if any.
