Sep 23rd 2007 4:54PM The fact that the USD went down is the reason for CD to go up. It's maddening to see consumers going on a spending fringe. Tomorrow if the dollar goes down, these people will have no money in the bank and paying more to the credit card.
The US dollar has gone down because of debt and will be paying more to support their military. There is talk that the US currency may not be used through out the world and it seems more plausable. The American consumer will have to allow more free trade with globe or be left out.

True. Older people are the last to hear about a recall. Many have no idea what a recall entails or react. An older friend figured the car maker wanted to do "expensive repairs" on her car. I had to convince her that it wouldn't cost her money and benefical. Second hand owners will not get the notice letter and in some cases neither will the new owner.
