Enthusiast designs four-door Ferrari PanaQuattroMeraPorte {Autoblog}

Oct 1st 2008 12:16AM From what I've read on this site before, for enough money Ferrari would actually build Igor's Frankenstein for him. Lets all hope he's a starving artist.

Ford reminds world that it didn't "willfully" violate wiper patent {Autoblog}

Oct 1st 2008 12:11AM jgp is right, patents are just more litigation clogging up the arteries of society. People like Kearns want money for doing nothing more than applying existing technology to some new purpose. He did not invent the variable resistor, nor did he invent the windshield wiper. He just put the two together, like any 10th-grade shop class student could have. It wasn't a stroke of genius, more like a stroke of obvious. How did Alexander Graham Bell invent the telephone? He got to the patent office first.

VIDEO: Bob Lutz on the Colbert Report {Autoblog}

Sep 19th 2008 12:02AM Gstill - "A LOT of people use the Daily Show and the Colbert Report as a source for information." Holy crap I hope that is not true, people know its not the REAL news, right? Besides, I don't think Bob is reaching a very valuable market here, the 20-year old community college students getting high in their parent's basements and watching these POS shows probably can't afford a $40k car. They can barely afford six bucks for the "Citizen of the Earth" bumper sticker to stick on their '89 Carolla.

Same old shtick: IIHS wants to delay licenses for teens {Autoblog}

Sep 9th 2008 5:54PM I was driving tractors at 12, cars at 16 and semi's at 18. There was a learning curve to all these things. You have to learn sometime, and the only way to do that is to get experience and make mistakes. Unfortunately, as driving is inherently dangerous, some mistakes will cost people there lives. Better education can help, but there will always come that time whether at 16, 17, 18, when a young driver is going to have to perform without a safety net.

F1 driver turned male model: Lewis Hamilton poses for new McLaren shoe line {Autoblog}

Sep 4th 2008 10:30PM That picture looks like something for the Mapplethorp exhibit. As if Beckham never wearing a damn shirt wasn't bad enough. Et tu F1?.

Kuwait orders 150 Dodge Charger police cars {Autoblog}

Sep 3rd 2008 7:28PM Good to see Kuwait giving a tiny bit back to the country from which they've taken so, so much. This should keep a few people in Michigan from losing their jobs for a month or two, by that I mean the people outfitting them for police service, not Chrysler. 150 Chargers won't make a dent in their troubles.

Peterbilt hybrid truck delivers the good stuff {Autoblog Green}

Aug 15th 2008 5:58PM Peterbilts make the best trucks I've ever driven, I'd never haul in anything else if I had a choice, I'm not surprised at all they're leading the way in these new technologies, and I agree with the idea of tax credits to push these new trucks.

Channel 4 finds that real-world testing undermines "green" car claims {Autoblog Green}

Aug 15th 2008 5:52PM This is telling us what we already know, the Civic Hybrid sucks and the Mini Cooper D is awesome.

VIDEO: Ford Fiesta stars in some B-roll {Autoblog}

Aug 9th 2008 5:04PM Will we ever get to see this car in a color besides exorcist puke green?
