We need small 2 and 4 cyl engines and they are still making big gas guzzlers.
EVs would be the best but the big 3 are dinosaurs that will die of soon. I can't wait.

Honda Fit hybrid not coming to the U.S. {Autoblog Green}

Aug 22nd 2008 11:32AM I don't understand why the US is the LAST place on the face of the earth to get these new higher MPG cars. I suspect a conspiracy.....

Peugeot updates the 407 with improved 2-liter diesel and Flex-Fuel options {Autoblog Green}

Aug 20th 2008 2:47PM Yes, I'll take one too. Here in the US we have no way of getting these very nice high MPG cars that are in the rest of the world. And like your Peugeot - my 1986 Citroen will someday not start one morning. PSA needs to brings their cars to USA.

Jul 30th 2008 12:56PM I'm afraid you are correct. These cars will not be brought into the US because the manufactures think no one will buy them. But I think they would sell like ice cream on a hot summer's day.

Ghosn: EVs will be profitable from the start, no range extenders {Autoblog Green}

Volvo pinning hopes on small cars, diesels {Autoblog Green}

Jul 3rd 2008 7:07PM They should have had they higher MPG vehicles here a couple years ago. By the time they get here in the USofA it will be too little and too late and surely too high priced.

Toyota Yaris 5-door rolls into U.S. for '09 {Autoblog Green}

Jul 2nd 2008 12:38PM I agree about the engine choices. We will be looking for a new small commuter car soon and MPG is near the top of the list. The smaller gas and diesel options might push us to buy a Yaris.
5 Door is a big PLUS.

Jun 22nd 2008 9:07AM Great news! BUT much of this technology is ready today. Why the wait?
