Nov 16th 2007 10:47AM Price is the only thing people care about these days. People are short sited and don't consider service before and after the sale. Even the landscaper who cuts the owner's lawn went 100 miles away for a slightly lower price...guess who doesn't cut his lawn anymore. When he has a breakdown and wants his truck back on the road pronto, how helpful will service be? You don't "need" us until you need us.

Nov 16th 2007 9:58AM Amen. I agree 100%. My income too has decreased the last 3 years while the cost of living (gas, oil, taxes) have all increased substantially. The customer and their unreasonable expectation that I will work for free has made it an 'us against them' buying experience. I can't tell you how many hours I've put in to helping someone find the right vehicle that fits their needs and budget, only to have them come back at me with a low-ball figure they got over the internet that may not even be real. Where is the value in the service I provided? What about honesty, integrity, ethics? The only thing that matters is the bottom line. The customer will take up all of your time with questions and test drives just to sell you out for a couple bucks not realizing any value in the service you provided. It has become a very discouraging business for an honest salesman.

Sep 28th 2007 10:54AM It looks like he removed the front seats to do the conversion and put them back wrong. You can see the side airbag tag on the inside seat bolster. That tag should be to the outside.
