First production Chrysler Aspen hybrid comes off the line {Autoblog Green}

Mar 24th 2008 11:37AM This is tough to fathom. Is Chrysler selling enough of the Aspen to justify the costs associated with a hybrid version? From what I've heard, Dodge is having a tough time selling Durangos so the more expensive Aspen has to be an even uglier proposition.

Production Kia Soul gets impromptu online reveal {Autoblog}

Mar 14th 2008 4:07PM I won't dispute that. I'd be perfectly happy if they'd named it something else and brought over that little square Daihatsu that they're using as the new JDM xB. While they're at it they should bring the Aygo over from Europe and call it the new xA.

Production Kia Soul gets impromptu online reveal {Autoblog}

Mar 14th 2008 2:17PM I'm an '08 xB owner and it's been a fantastic vehicle for the family. That said, if the Soul is fun to drive with a 5-speed I'd strongly consider trading my pickup on one.

Paris 2008 preview: pricey Lumeneo Smera to be released early 2009 {Autoblog Green}

Mar 13th 2008 2:02PM Neat vehicle and cleverly packaged but I must agree that the pricing will relegate it to an interesting curiosity.

New York '08 Preview: Nissan to show EV concept based on Cube {Autoblog Green}

Mar 11th 2008 11:49AM The aesthetics are subjective. I like the way it looks. The aerodynamics aren't optimal but if I had one of these on my commute that would be a moot point as I rarely get up to speeds where aerodynamics play a significant role (most of the time at

Hecha en Argentina: First official drawing of VW's new pickup {Autoblog}

Mar 10th 2008 5:10PM Don't worry, we're hard at work trying to help the dollar reach parity with the peso!

VW's plan for the U.S. include smaller Passat replacement, pickup and more {Autoblog}

Mar 10th 2008 11:49AM Buying Chrysler would be about the worst decision any company can make at this point. It's tainted with the stink of death.

U.S. Ford Fiesta to be well-equipped and profitable from the start {Autoblog Green}

Mar 7th 2008 4:51PM Holy crap, you mean if they make it fun to drive and equip all cars well to keep option lists short (and drive up economies of scale) then market it as a fun var with value it will sell well?

Brilliant!

On a serious note, the new Fiesta looks like it may actually be a nice fun to drive little car in exactly the way the new Focus is *not*. I'm really hoping Ford pulls this off and makes money on it.

What say you? Should Ford sell Fiesta hatchbacks in U.S.? {Autoblog}

Mar 5th 2008 4:41PM It's easy to say yes to this. I'd love a nice hatchback and though I'd probably prefer Mazda's version the Ford looks good in this case. give it 100hp, good handling and a 5-speed.

New York '08 Preview: Scion unveiling Hako Coupe Concept {Autoblog}

Mar 5th 2008 2:33PM "...That was true for the first gen xB..."

That's what my post *should* have said...
