Sep 17th 2007 8:30PM What a car this Jetta TDI will be! I drove a European model recently: it moves with great authority on European roads and autoroutes: Suddenly you'll find yourselves driving faster than most anyone else, it just happens.... acceleration is exceptional, top speed is over 130 mph, and this from this small 2 liter engine! Fuel consumption is low-low-low! The 6 speed DSL transmission combined with that little Diesel creates the impression, you are driving a steam locomotive.

Aug 30th 2007 11:16AM There is no substitute for diesel-torque. Drove a Jetta TDI 2.0 automatic in Europe, this car just moves like two-bats-out-of-hell! Fuel economy phenomenal. Can't wait to get my hands on one stateside!
