CNG-powered Standard Taxi to be built by AM General {Autoblog Green}
Aug 14th 2008 10:41AM Did anyone notice the GM propaganda? They have convinced the writer that Hummer Is the same as the very capable Humvee.
Some of the above comments show the Detroits success in connecting fashion to transportation machines. I prefer a cheap ride.

Is the Volt nothing more than bailout bait? {Autoblog Green}
Jul 3rd 2008 10:57AM Given GMs history of deception, and their continued nixing of the EV1, I suspect the WSJ is near the truth.

Jun 16th 2008 10:39AM How many rear enders do you see at a 15 mph sign?
It is not there to "fool" you. It is there to inform you.
I think I prefer the English zigzag line. But all above is better than puting a defect in the road.
Volt pricing and timing takes another twist: under $30 grand by 2010? {Autoblog Green}
May 24th 2008 11:08AM I love all this. The main point is that we have started the journey and there is no turning back. We can do anything if we just decide to do it. Who knows which route is the best at this stage.

Feb 19th 2008 12:40PM Keep in mind, much of the auto industry operate much like the tobacco industry. Their objective is to make money even at the expense of your quality of life. And like the tobacco industry, they can be beat by people with facts and a desire for better health.
Power of h, Lexus hybrid's new TV ads, don't mention features of hybrids {Autoblog Green}
Feb 8th 2008 11:32AM Most Americans and Europeans don't buy vehicles based on logic. They are taught what to want, much like the tobacco companies did/do. Toyota knows where the future is, has invested in it, and now is starting to sell "h" the way most will respond. I am sorry it isn't an American company leading the way. We use to.

Chicago 2008: North American Debut of the Toyota 1/x {Autoblog Green}
Feb 7th 2008 9:25AM Toyota is showing what can be done, not pretty pictures. I have no doubt that when this becomes the bases for a production vehicle it will handle just fine in cross winds. I drive an Insight, and it proves you don't need cast iron to handle 80 mph cross winds on highway 93 across Rocky Flats, CO.

BC transit sticking with clean diesel buses over hybrids for now {Autoblog Green}
Jul 14th 2007 9:52AM Keep in mind that BC is comparing the diesel bus to a GM hybrid, not the more efficient hybrid buses. The other question is if this diesel technology is so good, why is it not used with the hybrid technology to make a super bus? There seems to be a massive campaign going on to squelch the true hybrid in this country. We need to look at who benefits.
