Jul 16th 2008 1:44PM You're wrong. Against the other SN95 Mustangs, the IRS equipped Cobras handled much better and had much more comfortable rides. Those who swapped in solid axles were dedicated drag racers ONLY! The aftermarket supplied many parts to beef up the IRS to eliminate wheel hop and axle snapping.

Jul 2nd 2008 6:10PM Look at it this way....in 1987 there were maybe 5 cars under $100k that could run with an LX coupe. Its just a simple fact that many can't live with.
Fact is....even on the street (where it matters because we don't drive on road courses) today....if you come up next to a 5.0 LX you better have something special because 99% of you will probably not have enough to keep up with it. Rest assured it will be modified and it has much more house money to start with.
