Dodge Breeze spy photo

We had already seen the back of the Dodge Breeze, but now we've got a view of the rest. The Breeze is the result of badge engineering a Chery A1 for the South American market. As you can see, this is a small vehicle, especially when compared to the Ford Edge right behind it in the picture. What we don't know is why a Ford Edge is right there, because, according to our source article, the picture was taken at Chrysler's Technical Center. It's not likely that this car will be sold stateside anytime soon, or at all.

Don't even think about it. You think an 80s Geo Metro was a deathtrap? On a Chery, seatbelts are optional!
If there weren't any used cars out there to buy, then maybe there would be a need a for a car this awful. But there are plenty of used cars out there that provide a lot more than this and at a good price.

I still don't see why the boys at Chrysler discontinued the Neon. Now they are left stuck without a small sedan for the US market at a time when they desperately need one.

Car companies are always testing vehicles from other companies. The Edge is comparable to the Dodge Journey. It's possible that Edge was full of Data Aq. systems. That, or its just random.

"Breeze" is a really bad name. It sets it up to be called "Dodge Breeze blows".

Chrysler obviously doesn't agree; they've already used the name in the form of the Plymouth Breeze (1996-2000).
Though it did set up the unfortunate "cloud car" series (Cirrus, Stratus, Breeze).

Good to know they're working with nissan on the small car for the US and not chery. Now if only they'd do the same for the demon.
