Washington politician talks the talk, walks the walk

Politicians are sometimes accused of talking the eco-talk but not walking the eco-walk. While I'm sure that may be true for
You see, Steve is a committed proponent of electric vehicles (and if you check out the price (PDF) of his single-seater Myers Motors NMG car, you'll see how committed) who is actively trying to promote the greener alternative of transporting yourself with electric vehicles. "Ween ourselves from nature's black milk," [sic] is the goal he wants to reach, according to an interview conducted with KOMOTV. While the first step towards that end is the installation of a single public charging plug in downtown Edmonds, it is a step in the right direction.

In reference to the picture; I'd be PO'd at the SOB that parked that little yellow car so that I couldn't get my vehicle out. That's one selfish b*st@rd. I bet he didn't even bother to feed the meter.
Oh wait. I can pick up the little thing and move it. Never mind.

Help one person make a change to our environment
It's time to let the Oil companies know that we won't deal with higher and higher prices of gas. We watch money leave our pockets and emissions ruin our environment
Do not drive a vehicle on May 18th and let them know that a grass roots effort can bring their profits down and save the environment. The entire environmental impact could be monumental.
Check out this page and send it on to everyone you know and tell them to send it on......Let's make a difference

It is so rare to see a politician who doesn't fancy themselves some sort of royal shmuckedy shmuck. Kudos, and the best of everything. Now if we could outlaw yachts and private jets, that would be a real start.

That is actually a really cute toad of a car! I like when politicians walk the talk, even if it is only to make a statement, because even a statement from a politician is valuable in the awareness it generates. So good example set by this politician here, should look to be emulated by more!

Blame the oil companies for high prices when it's a world commodities market (and taxes on oil make the US Govt the largest collector of oil profits in the US, not the oil companies)? Outlaw yachts and private jets? Are you guys from the USA? If individuals consume less, demand will go down as will the world price of oil. Same with yachts and private jets. If less people buy them, they will make many less of them. But outlaw? this isn't Castro's Cuba, this is America. Change starts with you, not the government.

Mike, don't you know the government has all the answers? Some folks thing personal responsibility means it's not my fault.

Nice car and it looks like a good idea. Just try and find one. Most producers of three wheeled cars are looking for investors and can't turn out anything affordable.
