Videos: Ratan Tata, Sir Mark Moody-Stuart, Mitt Romney
Filed under: MPG, AutoblogGreen Exclusive, Legislation and Policy, UK, India, USA

We told you there are concerns Tata Motor's Nano will drive up oil prices. What does Tata chairman Ratan Tata think about this? In the first video below the fold, Ratan laughs it off. We told you Sir Mark Moody-Stuart, former Shell chairman said low MPG cars should be banned. Want to see Mark say that in his Prius? Check out the second video below the fold. We told Mitt Romney said he supported the Governator's right to get a waiver ... then Mitt took it back. Want to see Mitt's first position on the waiver? You can probably guess it's in the third video below the fold.

I saw the waiver support live but so far can find no proof of the reversal. If you could provide a link to his position reversal i.e. NOT supporting the waiver, it would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

regguy, I did not write the Romney article. You should comment on that article, contact our editor or the Sam about that. I will forward your comment to Sam. I just recorded and uploaded the videos so everyone could see some of the stories we write about. I think the source was a Detroit News story.

Oil prices are going to increase very quickly from this point forward as demand outpaces production resulting in Peak Oil.
Results: Competition resulting in more efficient vehicles, alternative fuels/energy and better mass transportation. Isn't this EXACTLY what the green movement wants?
The limited supply & increasing costs will allow FREE market COMPETION to provide the BEST alternatives as long as liberal/leftist/socialist & NeoCon bureaucrats don’t get in the way by choosing technologies based on the most lucrative campaign & lobbing support.
If we would ONLY follow the Constitution…

Lascelles,
understood and thanks for forwarding the request. I saw the reports of the flip flop but could find no Romney-based documentation.
