Get 'em while can: $13.95 die-cast Chevy Volts
Stop reading this and go buy the 1:32 scale die-cast model of the Chevy Volt. BBurago is only making 7,500 of the promotional replicas commissioned by GM. My guess is these puppies are going to sell out pretty fast. I might order some myself just to be the first on block with the Chevy Volt.What's the Chevy Volt, you might say, and why I am so excited about it? The Volt is GM's range extended electric vehicle that is expected to go on sale 2010. The Volt is an exciting program at GM and they are trying things they have never done before. The design will actually change slightly, so this die-cast will probably be a real collector's item some day.

I think it's a little weird that they're releasing models of the concept volt and not the production version. Guess that's why it's limited.

yeah, its a model of a show model, that itself will never run. gotta be worth something ..
the final Volt, if it ever sees the light of the day, will not look anything like that.

Might be a good idea to buy one if you are interested in this car. Judging by the amount of people who have put out pledges to buy a Volt, they will probably sell out fairly quickly.

Why would you ever make a mini model of a car you won't be producing. They're producing a different designed car. And let's see, they're trying to make some money off of mini cars and make a PR move with it. wonders... let me see some real action rather then mock action.

Well, Bburago has been making die cast cars for years, so if they decided it was worth paying GM the licensing fees, they probably know something. Plenty of other companies make die cast models of concept cars. Heck, Hot Wheels just makes their own concepts for die cast.

If you are trying to conserve energy why the skyroof? I scratched the A3 with that (oversteered but otherwise) excellent engine because of the skyroof. In Texas it gets way too hot during the summer to want the sun anywhere around.
