VIDEO: Live reveal of the $2,500 Tata Nano

Tata Motors company chairman Ratan Tata officially revealed the new $2,500 Nano Thursday in New Delhi. The tiny four seat Nano will initially be offered in India later this year, but it won't be exclusive to its home market. We won't be seeing the Nano in the U.S. any time soon, but it will be exported to markets where the income levels might create some demand for such an inexpensive car. That would include places like Africa, Latin America and perhaps even Eastern Europe. You can check out a video of the reveal of the 54mpg car after the jump.

This nano car is very beneficial for indian people who r leaving in small cities. But the other thing they will take care about is petrol. Keeping its average around 22km/L is not enough. Petrol is wasted too much in traffic james. So here i have one idea, why not a car is given an aditional battery to run the car at traffics, bcos in traffics people don't run their cars at high speed, this saves a lot of petrol and battery, being rechargeable can be used again and again.
So a car should have a battery too to run the car and traffics at low speed. If this sort of car is made, really people will run to buy it.

Now that my Yugo flower pot has rusted out, the Nano looks like a fitting replacement..Garbage in, Garbage out. Remember the Isetta, seen one lately {on the road). Oh well.....

SURE SOMETHING ELSE THAT A BUNCH OF SAND RATS GET TO HAVE OUR ECONOMY IS DROPPING... UNEMPLOYMENT IS ON THE RISE AND ALL OF OUR JOBS GO TO THESE MONKEYS BUT WHAT BETTER WAY TO REWARD THEM BUT BY GIVING THEM A CAR FOR 2500 BUCKS TWICE NOW THEY HAVE TAKEN A JOB FROM ME AND I BEEN LAID OFF ONCE BECAUSE THEY CAME HERE AND BOUGHT THE GAS STATION I WAS WORKING AT (FULL SERVE) AND SECOND BECAUSE JOB WAS OUTSOURCED HEY THE WAY THINGS ARE GOING MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL MOVE TO INDIA SO WE CAN GET OUR JOBS BACK AND LET OUR GOVERNMENT JACKASSES HAVE AMERICA ALL TO THEMSELVES LET THEM TAX EACH OTHER INTO THE POORHOUSE

UHm was that a rocky video or a car viewing? That was the worst blog ive ever seen. And where does the whole GREEN thing come in? IT RUNS ON GAS AND RELEASES IMMISIONS! Gee wiz these guys are so smart, they reinvented the wheel! C'mon people wake up! don't you get it! the oil companies do all kinds of things to make sure we don't get real efficiant electric cars at at a reasonable price for everyone around the world. Can you imagine if we did! You don't think there behind this? Why wont they sell them in Amarica? because our economy is to strong for it! HAH! they would sell millions here and they know it! But then They couldn't sell are thirsty S.U.V.'s @ 5.00 bucks a gallon. The only reason gas prices go up is because cars become more efitiant. And they lose money that way. Take away the thirsty cars And you take away there 40,000,000,000. dollar record breaking profit margin that they have every year.

you have got to be kidding that car looks more like a golf cart than anything else.it may get good gas mileage but is it safe in an accident, or will it crumple like the beer can its made of.
