What do Hummer owners think of Scooterists?
There may be a rare case or two out there, but we'd bet that the average Hummer owner would never want to be seen on a scooter, nor would a Vespa rider want to be seen driving a Hummer. The kind of person who chooses to commute on a scooter probably is morally against what the Hummer represents, and those who choose to drive a Hummer to work probably don't care that the scooter is a more efficient means of transportation, right? Sure, Hummers aren't really any worse than any other SUV out there with an equally sized-engine... but few would argue that they are certainly perceived as different.

Kay, you fall into the same category as 90% of people who buy based on their needs and not on the opinions of a bunch of zealots from either side. I have a 150cc scooter (Vento Phantera GT-5) and a Volvo S40. I wouldn't buy a Hummer but I do think they look pretty cool. They just don't fit my life. I don't need an SUV but for the 1% of the time I need to haul something too big for my car. People get all bent out of shape over this stuff. Sage advice: Drive what you need, turn off the lights when you leave a room, don't cut people off in traffic, don't be needlessly wasteful and open doors for your mom, wife, daughter and people you don't know.

I ride a 50cc scooter i get 80+mpg. I go food shopping weekly But as im on the road these suv ppl rather talk on ther cellphones then drive. Hummer drivers i bet never been off-road so why drive one?

Aw man, I ride a scoot to commute to school, but also have one of those giant lifted pickups for longer trips... Where is the camp that I join?
