Video: Entourage star Jeremy Piven drives BMW Hydrogen 7

TMZ has a video of Entourage star Jeremy Piven getting into a BMW Hydrogen 7. Jeremy said a few words to the paparazzi encouraging the use of hydrogen and they noticed he was parked illegally in the red zone. Here is exactly what Jeremy said when asked to talk about the hydrogen-powered car:
If you get more hydrogen stations and you tell the governor like Schwarzenegger to put more hydrogen stations, we can have cars like this, ultimately. They will probably be ready in like ten years.
Jeremy tried to avoid the paparazzi at first but they did give him an encouraging "you can do it" as he unparked after the impromptu press conference. Below the fold is a video of an almost identical scene, jackals and vultures fighting over a carcass in the wild.

Ummm.. That's "Piven".
I just wish I could get a dual-mode (gasoline or diesel/CNG) car that could be Philled up in the garage overnight..

Jeremy Priven is unedumucated. LOL. People complain about the PRICE of gas. NO MASS population is going to switch to a fuel-base that is 3 times more. ARE YOU WILLING TO PAY THREE TIMES MORE for fuel? I don't think so. In 10 years you'd be lucky if hydrogen cars could go 150miles. It currently only goes 100. And plug-in and EVs will ultimately dominate unless they make water-fuel cell cars not hydrogen fuel cell. Dumb celebs need to get their facts right because putting up 10,000 hydrogen fuel stations with no hydro cars proves to be an impossible task to switch from gas stations. No one is willing to invest billions of dollars for a technology that is PROVEN TO FAIL. Hype about hydrogen is a good book.

Dr. Kenneth Noisewater, Thank you! Changed. Gotta love Ari... illegally parks in the show too :D I think he would have seemed smarter if he was not attacked like that.

Man the BMW Hydrogen 7 is such a DIRTY car...
It's pathetic.
Be cleaner to drive an 8 wheeler big rig down the street, than to drive that POS.

Hydrogen: The perfect fuel for people with more money than sense. Or who can freely spend other people's money. Those of use who don't have money to burn, and can spend somebody else's will just have to settle for something more efficient, safer, and greener. For instance: GASOLINE.
Why do you folks waste so much time covering hydrogen? It's not renewable, and it's not green.

Great. Another arrogant and clueless celebrity. One wonders if he has any idea how inefficient and expensive his ride is, or how many problems there are with H2 fuel.
The paparazzi are just as bad, building up celebs with more exposure than they deserve, then attacking when the celebs turn out to have human failings.

I believe Piven has good intentions. He is misguided like many americans about hydrogen cars. It's funny to me how Honda, Chevy, and BMW are advertising their fuel cells vehicles that won't be in dealerships near you for about 20 years... so they say. It's probably because each those fuel cell cars cost over a million each and a lot of really amazing breakthroughs have to happen in order for hydrogen to be an efficient automotive fuel. Hydrogen cars are more a complicated solution to a complicated problem. I say skip the hydrogen steps and plug-in your car.

Hydrogen not Green? Sure, the technology is immature but it is clearly the fuel of the future. Kudos to BMW and Piven for bringing attention to the fact a Hydrogen-driven vehicle is already on the road. Costs will come down and the current naysayers will go the way of those who said PCs' would never catch on!
