Al Gore drives hybrid Taxi in Futurama movie
Filed under: Green Culture, Hybrid, Green Daily

Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore voices himself as a hybrid cab driver in 2012 Long Island in the new animated movie Futurama: Bender's Big Score. In the movie, Al is happy to get a ride from a killer, time-traveling robot that offers him $100 to run over someone. Al crashes his Hybraxi Taxi Co cab (with NOC02 license plate, natch), loses the fare and complains "dang. That $100 could have bought me one gallon of gas." And you thought $3 a gallon was bad.

For Dnelson49(#3), you are an idiot. Al Gore didn't "try" to steal the election in 2000, George Bush "did" steal the election. There are only two elections where the exit poles didn't match the votes, and it was in 2000 and 2004. Gore not only won the popular vote, but he won the electoral vote too, if the election hadn't been rigged.
As for Leni Shea(#4), well before you make fun of anyone else with your stupid comments, learn how to spell so your ignorance doesn't really show. The words are spelled "prize" and "challenge". I can take the word prize spelled as a typo, but not when you spell it the way wrong way twice in one paragraph.
Anyone who still thinks that Gore wouldn't have made a better president by now, is a moron!

To Steve
I am sure your parents brought you up with the words
If you can't say something nice, then say nothing at all.
Name calling as you did with the use of Moran
lowers you to that level.
Try making your point about the article and not
about others view, or education.
When you fail to do this it speaks volumes of
who you are, and with your statements here
I see not much of a human

Al Gore is nothing but a despicable, disgusting, pompous windbag!
He's lucky he wasn't prosecuted for ILLEGALLY soliciting donations for the DNC from the White House phones!
To think that such a "person" could run for the highest office in the country is a disheartening disgrace!

Al Gore is a complete hypocrite, and furthermore anyone who thinks Ethanol is a good solution to Gasoline is a complete idiot. Read the facts. Al Gore's house uses more resources then even Dubya's house in Texas does. Practice what you preach

US gas prices are just too low. I know that this may sound crazy, but if US fuel prices are equal to the one in EU (about $8.00 a gallon) there will be only few people considering Hummer or large SUV and usage of efficient cars and trucks would skyrocket. Cheep gas.........big cars.

Dear Oh Geeze,
Funny how you were able to point out that I did a little name calling(accurately), but you totally ignored that the two people that I was speaking about, were also name calling. Which is what brought me to say my comments. So that shows your true colors. Yes, my mother brought me up right, she brought me up to speak the truth and not let others get away with lies. Of course, the republicans believe that the more you tell a lie, the more that it becomes a truth. So please don't lecture me. Um, thanks!

It does amaze me how right wing the comments usually are, here on AOL. So one of two things are going on, either AOL has an unusually high amount of republicans and/or morons, or the liberals and democrats just have better things to do than waste their time sitting here and correcting all of the wrong things that a lot of you guys are talking about. If you people are in denial about how much better we would be if Gore would have been president, then I feel sorry for you. If you think that THIS president is doing a good job, you have some really sad priorities. REALLY sad.

Just for the record, for those of you who think that Jimmy Carter was such as awful president, I will leave that to your own opinion, but he is one of the finest men that God has ever put on this earth and one heck of a humanitarian. But he started to try and get us less dependant on oil before he left the White House. He started putting solar panels in the roof of the White House. If we had continued on that path, we might not be in the mess we are in now, being so dependant on foreign oil. By the way, when Reagan took office, he took all of the solar panels out.
For those of you who want to slam Clinton and Gore, those were 8 good years for this country. When Clinton left office, oil was $18.00 a barrel. And he did successfully fight the war in Yogoslavia and Milosivic is where he rightfully belongs. And those countries, although the still don't necessarily get along, they are prospering and doing very well. But we had good reason to get into that war, this war was started over oil and so we could get our greedy little hands on it. And the only reason that Bush keeps ramping up the chatter of how had Iran is, is so he can keep the oil market unstable, which only causes the price per barrel to stay high. Which, in turn, keeps his oil rich buddies making record profits, while you are paying for it at the pump and also paying for it as our reputation around the world worsens. What a sad bunch of people, since you haven't figured all of that out yet.

Gore would quit believing in global warming if he were here in the Boston suburbs tonight. The temps are about 22 degrees and there is snow on the lawn and ice on the nearby pond. The three white Pekin ducks and their constant companions (three mallards)were struggling to walk on the ice with their webbed swimming feet. Penguins would be more at home on the pond tonight!

Steve your idealist view of the world living in a grand utopia is a nice thought but not realistic. You are entitled to your opinion and I welcome it but you sir are the one I feel sorry for. Your views in my opinion are ignorant. During the so called "great" 8 years under clinton (Republican house and senate by the way) our image (USA) to the rest of the world was better? 9/11 happened what 9 months after President Bush took office. What did the President do during those 9 months to anger fanatical muslims so much? I guess paying Korea not to pursue Nukes was a good answer. Is that diplomacy? We do need to get away from foriegn oil dependance, but not for a new wonderful earth. We need to for our own self sufficiency. Humans are definately polluting the earth and contributing to global warming but it is a small percentage of the reason for global warming. President Carter was one of the worst presidents of all time, President Regan was one of the best. Any one that doesnt buy in to the left wing media bias trying to re-write history would know that. Al Gore will never be president, he is an idoit. Like most dems, carter, everything they do is for political gain for them self or their party. God help us if that crazy woman hillary gets in or that coke snorting, ahlah loving obama.
