VW snags ÖKO-TREND award for Passat BlueMotion

The ÖKO-TREND institute has decided that Volkswagen should get another "Automobile Environment Certificate" for the Passat BlueMotion. VW previously earned this certificate for the Golf TSI, Polo BlueMotion, the Golf 1.4 TSI, the Touran EcoFuel.The Auto-Umwelt-Zertifikat means that the vehicle it is applied to have passed with flying colors a few tests for ecological friendliness, things like fuel use, emissions, recyclability and production methods. VW says the Passat BlueMotion earned the top scores in "many" of the category list.

It is clear that you have not had much contact with your fellow AutoblogGreen blogger Lascelles or you would know that diesel has no future and only causes pollution since they are filthy.

@zerk the realty owns you badly... world wide diesel car use 25% dramaticly increasing... at the biggest car market in the world Europe (21.9million cars a year) diesel hold over 50% of the market
