The Blue Sky Bio-fuels company in Oakland, California has announced the start of its Grease Collection Service. This is a service for restaurant or other business to "reduce collection fees and partner with the Clean Air for Kids campaign." That sure sounds like a win-win-win. If you're interested, check out the website.Blue Sky Bio-fuels says it produces "beyond ASTM" quality biodiesel from all sorts of waste oil sources: not just restaurants, but also food production facilities and public utility sewer systems.
The Clean Air for Kids campaign aims to increase biodiesel use in school buses. There's a video of the campaign after the jump.
