Why Bush failed to reach a deal on ethanol with Australia
The video above is a collection of blunders Bush made in a speech at APEC. Bush may have also made another blunder by failing to reach an international deal with Australia on ethanol. There were rumors Bush would invite Australia to join an ethanol partnership at APEC. According to one Australian MP, the failure has to do with economic protectionism and America's use of an inefficient feedstock (i.e., corn).
Here are the exact quotes by Australian Regional Development Minister Tony Kelly on why the rumored trade deal failed:
- "The ethanol industry can create an enormous number of jobs in rural and regional NSW, and how that can come under threat if we do some deal with America."
- "The ethanol that's produced by the Manildra Group at Nowra is much better for the environment than biofuels or ethanol that's produced by corn in the US because what the Manildra Group use is the wheat starch waste and that leads to some 37 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions."

Bush, the traitor has failed at everything he attempted except to keep the boarders open and defenseless. I was foolish enough to be conned and vote for the Neocon. Democratic socialists and Neocons wear the same skin... sheep skin, that is. New World Order Wolves all want to bury us in debt!

Not suprising that Bush has screwed up again, he is very experienced at incompetence. Bushs only real skill is his ability to persuade his rich buddies to bail him out yet again.
Bush a traitor? Nahh, he's very loyal to the rich, the oil companies, and his neocon buddies. It's just the rest of the country he's betrayed, and from his perspective, they don't count.

Screwed up? We're grateful down here! We can make plenty of our own ethanol at a much lower cost to the environment, importing yours would be stupidity at the highest level.
Also, that should be "Australian MP", not "Australian PM". MP = Member of Parliament, PM = Prime Minister.

HE HAD TEXAS SO SCREWED UP WHEN HE FINALLY LEFT (THEY APLAUDED WHEN HE WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT AND THE DUMMY THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE HE GOT ELECTED) WHEN IN REALITY IT WAS BECAUSE HE WAS LEAVING TEXAS AND THEY COULD TRY AND FIX HIS SCREW UPS! AND INCIDENTLY, HE'S NOT A TEXANN, I BELIEVE HE WAS BORN IN NEW HAVEN CONNECTICUT BUT THEY WON'T OWN UP TO IT! SO NOW YOU KNOW!

If his IQ really is 80,that would explain a lot & voting for the lesser of 2 evils doesn,t always work.

Why should we screw up another country with unsustainable ethanol production from food crops?
They'd do better growing jatropha, an inedible weed, for biodiesel.

Has Bush committed Treason?
There are over a dozen counts of treason against Bush, the other Neocons and the Democratic-socialist leadership who aided & abetted by helping, ignoring or refusing to stop the crimes. I’m a right-wing Regan conservative, but I know treason when I see it.
He along with the other neocons and leftists democratic-socialists are giving aid and comfort to the enemy by refusing to protect our boarders in a time of war. A war was started under false pretense and voted for by BOTH parties. They have imprisoned Americans and foreign nationals in undisclosed locations without charge or trial as part of the unconstitutional, unpatriotic Patriot Act which gives them virtually unlimited power to spy on Americans in America, arrest and detain “suspects” indefinitely without charge. We are being invaded by Mexico and they REFUSE to repel the invaders. There is MUCH more.. http://www.directoryupdate.net/treason.html

Hey Ms. Linton - what did that video have to do with you're posting?
Ah - I get it, you don't like President Bush. I wouldn't have guessed that. OK, well, carry on then...

The United States is not a democracy. Democracy is tyranny of the mob. The US is a constitutional republic.
Why would we foster 'democracy' on other people?

MikeW- A Democracy is 2 wolves and a sheep voting on what’s for dinner. A Republic is when the sheep has a gun.
The United States of America is a free Constitutional Republic where the rights are inalienable ie cannot be given or taken away.
The United States is a Socialist Democracy were the rights are unalienable and CAN be given away (as in for security) or taken away by a simple majority vote.
Since 911, the United States has become a Police State and will remain so until we win the war on terror. How will we know if and when we win? How many unalienable rights are we willing to give up for security? When you trade freedom for security, you have neither. Ron Paul

You can hate Bush all you want but why do you people tell lies? He does not Have an I.Q of 81 any more than Clinton had Vince Foster killed. This is a prank put out on the internet that said a study done by the "Lovenstein Institute", tells what the presidents from the last 50 years I.Q.'s are or were. Problem is, There isnt a "Lovenstein Institute" and none of the presidents on the list have any record of taking an I.Q. test. Also to be noted, Some how Clinton has the highest( even higher than Kennedy's or Roosevelts) and Bush the lowest. The prank goes on to say the average republican I.Q is 115 and the average Democrat is 155..how convienient huh? The point is, its a hoax and you would think you people on here would at least be smart enough to research things before you put them out as facts. quaheedus@yahoo.com
