Future Fuels August 20 on the Science Channel
August 20th to the 24th is Eco-Tech week on the Science Channel. It's starts off August 20th with the episode "Future Fuels." "In this episode, we'll meet the chemists, engineers, and designers who are finding incredible new ways to power planes, trains, and automobiles - using cooking grease, plant stalks, algae, hydrogen, viruses, and sunshine." Rated TV-G. 60 minutes long. I will live blog it here at AutoblogGreen, so stay tuned.
The other episodes in the Eco-Tech series are Zero Waste, Building Green, Powering Up and Extreme Weather. I will check those out and tell you if any green autos come up. The Science Channel is apart of the Discovery Channel Network. They usually find the cool in boring science and technology like their hip hop TV ad. They plan an entire 24 hour network all about green things very soon called Planet Green.

There is bacteria that might do it. Eco-tech might be a lot of what was seen in Future Cars. Discovery tends to recycle a lot. They usually add something new though. I will look out for nuclear things for you when it airs.

I watch a show on Discovery Science Channel called Eco Tech. I would like to be a part of making our world a better place. I have 28 years as a HVAC Lead Tech. I take care of my countys schools A/C systems. Its all run by computers and I have the joy of 9 computers to over see it all.
I enjoy what I do. My Wife and I are both Eco Green and we want to help change the way we live to save this planet. I am thnkful to find a site with Eco friends. Enjoy Life.

I am taking notes on this 5 part series and will be giving a synopsis of each episode with supportive links at my blog. I have summarized Episode One so far and am watching part 4 tonight.

I have found a company that has a sleek photovoltaic module for the Toyota Prius. It comes in a kit with a battery bank and charge regulator. An ordinary maechanic can install this sytem on '04 and later Prius's in 2-3 hours. It gives the driver 20 miles of pure solar driving before automatically switching to the normal hybrid mode. This company also offers the "Total Solar Solution" which gets your home and EV/SEV fully powered by the sun. This company has a product for sale. Americans need to know how to contact them. Christmass morning,2:00am EST. (MERRY CHRISTMASS ALL) I am watching eco tech ( rerun ) eco-power, battery film, jet fuel , etc.
I have some ideas, and would like to know how to contact some of the people, your show has shown?
Is there anyway to reach those companies or people?
I believe in free power to the people, for and by the people. I'm disabled and would like to speak to the gent that made the solar powered ARNE charoit (the robot that pulls a charoit by a robot with the Governers face), as well as a few others.
Who needs to wait till 2050? the people of the USA can do it in 5 to 10 years no fossle fuel vehicles or electric power homes, and no nukes!!!!!!
