Paris Hilton is getting a hybrid Hummer "designed"
We told you Paris said she ordered a hybrid Hummer. The only problem was they don't exist. She is not giving up! "I'm trying to get a Hummer one designed" she says. Yes, that's right. Paris Hilton is a green car designer now. I know what you are thinking; what tips does she have for the lesser car designers out there?She says "I like hybrids, but a lot of them aren't that cute. I'm thinking silver ... or maybe I'll get a green one!" So, for the car designers reading this, you heard Paris! Make hybrids cuter... or silver or green. I am not sure if she is trying to repair the damage from her previous remarks or if she is actually talking to GM.
GM did make a hydrogen version of the Hummer for Arnold. So, I guess it's possible they might try something similar with Paris. Very soon you might see a photo op with GM officials and Paris Hilton beside a cute green and silver hybrid Hummer.

Paris knows a LOT about hummers. I saw the video. I also know that Paris believes that sometimes it is better to give than to receive. Isn’t charity grand! ;)

i agree with her. i think the hybrids are damn ugly. maybe a hybrid hummer does not make sense but then again, why not? why not a bio-diesel hybrid hummer? that would be a cool vehicle.
I really hate the eco car options out there. Contrary to most people, I dont think its up to everyone to figure out a green car for themselves, I think it is up to the policy makers and the car companies to make all of our options green. consumers should not be faced with a choice between a boring eco car and a car they actually like, they should have cool interesting vehicles of all kinds that are green. bio deisel hybrids, electric, plug-in. why are there so few real options??? Paris is right to ask for more.

What's fascinating about Paris is she mingles with the Hollywood liberals, so she feels that she *should* have a hybrid; but she's also an insecure moron, so she *wants* a Hummer. Yet another tough dilemma for our troubled heroine.
That said, I say bring on the hybrid Hummers. The technology itself is amoral. It can improve any car, whether it should or not.

Hybrid hummers can't be too far off. (Ridiculous as it may seem)
GM is about to introduce SUVs with their 2 mode system which would easily fit in a Hummer.
Certainly, there is a Hummer dealer out there that would take a deposit from Paris and promise her the first hybrid Hummer the dealer gets his hands on.

@Greg A: I am not asking for the impossible. If Audi can promise to offer their whole line in diesel - why can't others? Volvo and VW have plenty of diesel cars in the europe that get great gas mileage but they don't offer them here. Diesel cars can go hybrid just as easily and gas. So really what is the big deal to be demanding this stuff?? Why are we so happy with the Prius as the only option. And yes just because I want a green car, does not mean I don't want it to be a car I think is cool.
Of course a Hummer is huge so its not going to get great mileage - I am not saying that it would. I just think that when people decide to buy a green car they should find plenty of good options. That is simply not the case today.

What's the point of repeating this over and over and over again... Humvee DID have a hybrid Hummer back in 1997!!! www.greenhummer.info... Then GM bought the company, and POOF... no-mo hybrid Hummer... what an amazin' magic trick. Seems to me Paris ain't as dumb as people think!

Great blog and interesting topics. I wonder what makes Paris Hilton think she even has an IQ? Without her parents money she wouldn't even qualify to work at McDonalds or Burger King flipping burgers.

I don't normally sit down and write any comments, but Paris Hilton is a joke. I know her parent's can't be pleased with her. She acts like a person who never saw inside a classroom of any kind. She should just smile and keep going. TO have such rich parent's she's dumb. One thing I give Donald Trump credit for is how his children turned out. Those kid's work for everything they get. Maybe he should take Paris and try to instill some values in her. She's nothing without that last name.

Wow,there are alot of people out there that think inside of a pretty small box. The idea of a hybrid engine in a Hummer or in any vehicle for that matter is not that far fetched. You see all you would have to do is- get this- swap out the engine for a gas/electric engine, pretty crazy I know.
