A MINI running over water?

Yes, a MINI can walk run over water. In a campaign to showcase the new MINI, the BMW-owned marque is making some MINIs with a (I guess not factory-installed) sailing option and they will be showcased at beaches around Spain this summer.
The cars, which will run over sand and then float on the sea, will be the main attraction for MINI's advertising efforts in Spain, one of the visited countries in the world by tourists. The aim of the campaign is "creating tendencies and, of course, amuse everybody", says the press release. The car exhibition will include activities for children and adults, as well.

that's the fastest way to turn your new MINI into a rust-bucket; I just hope they mention this in the carfax report...

There is a stability problem, the flotation device is like an air matress underneath and the weight is above, making it unstable. A strong wave and it would flip over. The Poseidon Adventure in Mini!
Of course, they chose a calm day, and this is just for a silly ad campaign, to the risk is minimal. I don't think they'll actually market it!
