Biodiesel advocates sure do look like normal people don't they? Sometimes cleverly disguised as high school students, the biodiesel chorus is made up of people who were bitten by the powerful idea of biodiesel, and now want to share what they know. That's what happened to the Jenkins family in Nampa, Idaho, and they're gonna put pedal to the metal to show it.

This summer, the family will travel America from coast to coast in a diesel motor home, filling up with biodiesel along the way and talking up the biofuel every chance they get. The RV has been decorated "to call attention to the renewable energy source," the Idaho Press-Tribune writes, and they've got their route planned to fill up on biodiesel (B100? B20? B5? Don't know, but it's a good guess they'll take whatever's available) "nearly every step of the way."

Their tour will bring them to Salt Lake City; Rockford, Ill.; Louisville, Ky.; Washington, D.C.; New York; Detroit; Rapid City, S.D.; Butte, Mont.; and Shoreline, Wash. When they get back home, they plan to convert their Dodge SUV to flex-fuel. Good luck, Jenkinses.

Back in 2003, Nampa was the first city in Idaho to use B20 in its vehicles.
