2. I think the point of the Hydrogen 7 is to try and address the chicken/egg problem of hydrogen infrastructure. If you have a vehicle that can take advantage of both fuels, you can drive it more often because you won't need to worry about getting stranded without a place to fill up your fuel cell.
I tend to agree that hydrogen is silly in general, though. My vote definitely went to the Polo.

1. Those cars are all interesting, but the Hydrogen 7 is just stupid. If you burn hydrogen, do it in a fuel cell - makes more sense.
The Polo stands out, because it's more efficient than the Prius, not as dull to drive, and two thirds the price of the Prius.
The Smart? Sure, that's great if you want a two-seater.
